Hibiclens is a liquid antimicrobial skin soap that bonds to the skin and kills bacteria, viruses & fungi for up to 24 hours after washing. It's powerful cleansing action is gentle on skin, even with frequent use. Hibiclens is proven to kill many harmful bacteria (including MRSA). Washing with Hibiclens before contact with contaminated skin and surfaces will help eliminate the risk of transfer. It will help prevent cross-infection of dangerous staph infections (including the "superbug" MRSA) and Influenza. It's also effective in killing the germs that lead to the common cold, Salmonella, and Hantavirus. Antimicrobial, antiseptic skin cleaners can be part of an effective defense for preventing the spread of MRSA. This is fast acting. It prevents skin infections thereby reducing the risk of cross-infection. Has antiseptic activity and a persistent antimicrobial effect with rapid bacterial activity against a wide range of microorganisms. Hibiclens is for use only on the skin. Do not apply this medicine to deep cuts, scrapes, or open skin wounds. To use Hibiclens soap, apply only enough to cover the area you are treating. Wash the area gently, then rinse thoroughly with plain water.
